A Vintage Etsy Christmas

In my home, Christmas is all about the color BLUE, and an occasional RED. At this time of year, I LOVE searching Etsy for lovely vintage items that inspire me to feel a little Christmas in my heart. I have put together a pretty parade of Etsy items from other seller's shops that caught my eye. I hope you'll enjoy them as well.

I'm such a sucker for SHINY BRITE ornaments. I own quite a collection, but have had my eye on this set.

I have a few of these vinatge deer that adorn my glass cabinet for the holidays.
This one is from ElizabethWrenVintage. Very nice.

I recently found and purchased a large lot of these on Ebay,
but they've yet to arrive in the mail. SIGH. This one can be
found on Etsy with a sweet little price tag.

These are from one of my favorite Etsy shops, TheRickRack. They sold last week,
but I think she has one other set available. SO vintage sweet.

And finally, this sweet little guy. I found this yesterday, and was so impressed.

December Special Buys

Two shop *favorites* have made their way to the Special Buy section this month. The Santa tags featured in the previous post now have a handsome NEW LOWER PRICE of $5.00, for a set of ten- all this month.

String them on your mantel into a fun holiday phrase. The set comes with multiples of each letter, so you are not limited to just a few words. Or, how about using them as special initial gift tags to go on those pretty packages under the tree? Maybe frame your child's name to hang in their room, or your family surname in the family room. A 2010 Favorite Returns to 30one

Originally an item introduced in my shop last year, these fun Vintage Style Santa Tags are BACK for the 2011 Holiday Season. Born as a playing card, these fun tags have been sanded, and strung with pretty aqua bakers twine. Red/white bakers twine is also available upon request. Tie them to wrapped gifts,  with plenty of room on Santa's beard for a "to" and "from". Find them here. A Great Little Gift

As the Christmas season approaches I think of a few folks on my list that truly have EVERYTHING. What can you get them that they don't already have?

Well, last year, several of my customers made mention that they were purchasing fun little vintage card games to give as gifts. Unique gifts. Most were for siblings who enjoyed the games together as children.  Here are a few ideas from my shop that might be fun. Depending upon the era in which you were a kid, there are different games that will bring back pleasant childhood memories.
